CONTEST RULES
The contest is open to Canadian citizens of 18 years or older unless otherwise expressed by Quinte Broadcasting or its Promotional partner. Identification must be produced on request. Employees of Quinte Broadcasting, its contest sponsor, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees’ immediate family members (including parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, children & grandchildren) and persons with whom such employees are domiciled excluded from this contest. No one person or member of their immediate family or household may win more than one prize in any 30 days.
The prize is transferable upon approval by Crozier Heating LTD. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash value. Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All prizes must be redeemed within 180 calendar days, or they become the sole property of Quinte Broadcasting and Crozier Heating LTD. Once a prize is awarded, it is the sole responsibility of the winner. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledge that Quinte Broadcasting or Crozier Heating LTD may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize.
By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture data storage) which Quinte Broadcasting or Crozier Heating LTD may deem appropriate. To enter the ‘Win a Furnace’ contest, entrants listen to 800 CJBQ AM for the 800 CJBQ TOUCH TONE, from Friday October 16 – Friday November 13 2026. After the 800 CJBQ TOUCH TONE is played, entrants must call the 800 CJBQ contest line at 613-969-1545. Five callers per touchtone will be chosen as qualifiers. Our grand Prize winner will be selected on Friday November 13 2026. Detailed contest rules applicable to this contest, including contest entry dates, how to enter, and prize value, number and any restrictions applicable to these prizes are available upon request from Quinte Broadcasting.
This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. Quinte Broadcasting and Crozier Heating LTD reserve the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right for substitutions. Information on Furnace Specifications and Installation: Crozier Heating LTD will install one, two-stage natural gas or propane furnace up to 60,000 BTU capacity. The installation will include up to 20 feet of 2 inch S636 venting, up to 40 feet of 3/4 inch black iron gas pipe, new return airdrop kit with 16 by 25 by the 1 inch thick disposable air filter, one new plenum adapter for the supply duct connection, one new heat/cool non-programmable thermostat installation and set-up and removal and proper disposal of old equipment. The new furnace will be honoured for natural gas to natural gas, propane to propane or oil to either natural gas or propane. Upgrades are available at additional cost to contest winner. Installation is available in Crozier Heating LTD regular service area, Port Hope to Napanee, North to Highway 7 and throughout Prince Edward County. Installation of natural gas will be at the availability of Enbridge/Union Gas if gas is not already on site. Where oil to propane conversion occurs and no propane supplier is currently servicing the area Rosebush Energies will be used.
