It’s hard to believe August is almost done! Time flies by even in this pandemic year!
It brought to mind a summertime memory back in 1978. I was looking forward to my first year in Radio Broadcasting at Humber College in Toronto. I thought there was no better way to end the summer than catching Linda Ronstadt in concert at Maple Leaf Gardens!
That was August 19, 1978.
Livingston Taylor, James Taylor’s brother, opened the show…..followed by Linda Ronstadt. She put on a great show!
I couldn’t believe my luck coming across this photo of her. It’s the one lasting memory I have of her concert….Linda in her Darryl Sittler Toronto Maple Leafs jersey!
