Time to feed the Raindeer

Well it is finally here…the big day….Thursday!!! Kidding…Christmas is here and we are going to take a small hiatus. Time for family and friends and a little R&R. On behalf of my family and my producer Scotty and his family we wish all of you a marvelous Christmas and a super new year!!! See you back on Monday January 4th at 9am with Todd, Bill and the Monday Morning “Round Table”.

Lorne Gets To Hold The Olympic Torch

Quinte West Mayor John Williams stopped by the CJBQ studio with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic torch.

The Olympic Flame is coming to Quinte West on December 15, 2009, and the City of Quinte West and 8 Wing CFB Trenton are throwing a celebration.

The torch will arrive in Quinte West at 1:39 p.m., and will make a stop at the RCAF Flyers Arena at the base at 1:42 p.m., and the community is invited to come out for a barbecue and great music starting at 12:30 p.m. in anticipation of the arrival of the torch!

The torch will then travel south on RCAF Road at about 2:00 p.m., onto Dundas Street through downtown Trenton and on toward Trenton High School, to be passed off on Tripp Boulevard.
