The 2009 Brighton Applefest kicked off on September 24 this year with exciting events like a parade, karate demonstrations, the midway, a classic bike show, and of course lots and lots of apples!

The 11th annual Autumn Fest happened this summer at Dewe's on Dundas St. in Belleville. Proceeds from the event went to the "Other Side Media Group".

The Quinte Home Builders' Association celebrated 50 years with the Family Home Showcase Tour, and CJBQ's Jessica Murphy was out checking some of the beautiful homes on the tour.

This year's Walk for Heart took place in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Lots of money was raised, and the weather was perfect. Quinte Broadcasting's own Justin Ghent was one of the many participants.
