Our own Kira Hurley checked out the Yard Sale for the Cure, where proceeds from everything sold go to help find the cure for breast cancer.

CJBQ events girl Kira Hurley was at this year's Canadian Tire Jump Start, a program to help kids in need participate in organized sports. There was a BBQ from M&M Meat Shops and she even got to sit on an awesome Harley being given away by the Rotary Club!

About 300 walkers turned out to this year's Walk to Cure Diabetes at Zwick's Park, raising around $27,000 for the JDRF, with our own Scotty Lalonde MC'ing the event.

The Beer Store held their Bottle Drive for Leukemia, encouraging patrons to return deposits to support Leukemia and Lymphoma research. Promotions assistant Kira was on the scene.
